Hi

A long time ago i out a post up about intermittent window operation and had a reply saying it was probably the Amplifier not contacting properly and there was a picture guide on how to re solder it. i think the reply was from Jeff TT, what i am after is the guide on how to do it.

Does anyone know how i can get it again i have tried to search but no luck !! or if anyone else has had a similar issue and done this, likewise if anyone has a working AMP they no longer need please contact.

you have to break the case open to release the board from inside though it seems.

 

The bottom picture is exactly what mine looked like, all i did was heat up that one blob with my soldering iron, move the solder about a bit, then added a tiny bit more solder.

Havent tested it yet but im sure thats done the trick.
