So with the good weather I got another job cracked in the Zed or should o say parts to be fitted.

Picked up an excellent dash some time ago and planned to install the 3 gauge mount in the centre for AEM widebands and coolant gauges and then something a little different by flocking the dash.

Here are the mid results on the flocking progress. The gauge pod has been mounted and sealed in to make it more of a seamless fit.

I’ll follow this up by doing the dash cowl and A pillar trims. Colour is Anthracite and the DIY kit was produced by Floc-King. 5eed0d5df453e3433e745c21d2290ed0.jpg

It wasn’t too hard really and I’m happy with the finish overall. The Floc-king lot for different kits and I just used the basic DIY kit. I think to do more I’d get the professional kit to make it easier to do.

Different but great finish. ?

Agreed!

I have occasionally toyed with the idea of doing something like that with the instrument binnacle - purely to eliminate the reflection in the windscreen in extremely sunny conditions. But then always come to the decision that the effort outweighs the need :classic_wink:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
