I'm after a new Cat 1 alarm system. Just wondering if anyone had any suggestions on decent ones?

Hi.

If It's of any help we recommend these these for vehicle security. That might be able to offer you some advice.

Very interesting that you recommend these Dan, is this a personal recommendation or a view from Adrian Flux in general? The reason I ask is that all always makes me paranoid when I see that a company has dissolved fairly recently, especially when they offer lengthy warranties.

If I was to stumble across this company without a recommendation, I’d probably avoid them for the following reasons. The blurb in the ‘about’ section states:

“With the Internet now available to all and websites taking only minutes to build and pennies to host, it is often difficult to get a real picture of exactly who you are dealing with.

Some companies claim to be the biggest and best, some the oldest and some even the actual manufacturer of the product you are looking to purchase.”

They go on to state how the company was founded in 1998 but it has clearly been dissolved during that time and operates under a different trading name. I’m not suggesting any wrong doing, I’m sure there are many reasons why a company would do this but it was the part about who you’re dealing with and posing to be the manufacturer that put a nail in the coffin as this trader also operate under a website named cliffordalarm .co.uk!
