Tentitively looking at selling my 300zx. No, this is not a wind up. Reasons for selling is that I feel it's now time to change to something different, I've had the car nigh on 15 years and would like a change in life.

 

The car doesn't really need much in the way of an introduction. I've poured a lot of effort, love and money into this car over the years and will add a full spec however many many new and upgraded parts, the wheels alone (genuine 19" BBS LM) are worth around £3.5k

 

I'm not looking for silly money for it or to capitalise on it, but would like to be realistic.

Yep ...your 100% right , I should just buy this without knowing the price , what interior it has or what the ar@e end looks like

 

It is a fair comment, but having seen this car in the flesh normal buying considerations go out the window.

Simon has a car which is genuinely better than when it rolled off the production line.

If it's not perfect, it's not on it!

I have fallen out of love with mine I have to admit (currently under a tarp in the barn), but even I have been scratching my head on how to buy this one.

My thoughts are that Si will probably change his mind, and fair play to him most people on the forum want him to keep the car as they are convinced he will regret selling it.

Si is a long term and very well thought of member and if you can get to go and see the car my advice is take a fistful of cash with you because I doubt you will ever see the likes of this car come up again.

I believe it’s an import 1991 it is a manual.

The MOT check which you can do ( google check MOT) easily. the past 4 has no advisories !

The last 5th MOT was all about the tyres nothing more!

I’m not so sure he’s “the greatest ambassador” for the Zed but will certainly be missed. I do hope the new owner joins the forum and keeps us up to date with their car.
