I would say though that if you are not 100% confident with this job then at least get someone who is to help. I'm not being funny, honest ;) Its just if this goes wrong the engine won't last long at all..... Although you probably already know that ;)

I am confident doing the job but u know yourself when u read any manual a lot of the procedure is bullshit, with there usually being an easy way to tension the belt. I suspect its actually the left inlet cam seal thats leaking as with the two top covers off, there are deposits of oil around the back of the cam pulley wheel, I only have the PTU to remove to see the exhaust cam to see if its leaking too.

when I did mine I found that getting the tensioner to the 'right' setting was not straight forward. As you move the belt in different directions it places different tension onto the tensioner and moves it in and out. So trying to set it to the specified measurement is mainly guesswork. I found that the only way to be sure was to follow the instructions in the manual (printed out the pages from the CD) and not to follow the instructions from Twin Turbo US site (whatever it's called). They seemed not detailed enough, but they might have changed by now. It's a time consuming exercise, and it does not make a lot of sense, but it's prescribed by Nissan, so best to follow it.

I have the manual on CD but i find it a bit vague. The left bank inlet cam seal is definately leaking, with oil running down the inside of the cam cover plate. The next problem is with the pulley wheels. The exhaust ones are OK as they have 4 bolts in them, again the manual doesnt show (or i havent looked hard enough) whether the inlet cam pulley wheels have keyways or guides on them. Hows the best way to mark them if they have not guides as i dont have the rocker covers off (have already had manifold off to re-seal rocker covers.....never again as it was a nightmare).

Any help again appreciated.

...I replaced the belt and waterpump, so I've no real knowledge about replacing the cam seals. I recall that the 60k service info on the US site covers these items so I would suggest looking there. I printed off 2 sets of info from different sources then used the Nissan manual mainly for it's diagrams. All 3 together formed a reasonably comprehensive set of instructions. Sorry I can't be of further help...

good luck
