Think I have found why my heated rear window is not working, the wire was behind the plastic surround, however I am unable to reconnect it as the clip on the window has broken, any suggestions to what can be done?

You can solder a new piece onto it, but it looks like the silver eliment is broke on the window, I had the same problem after removing the tinted film. Need to test if element is complete from one end to other.

Yeah the piece that is on the window has broke, where could I get one? I can have a go at soldering it on

Lots for sale on eBay is very fiddly but worth a try.

Buy some electrically conductive glue epoxy ( yes really ) and fix a new spade terminal on there, once dry reconnect the cable.
