Hi guys. Been a while since I've been around. Me and the Z have moved to deepest darkest Wales and I'm looking forward to getting it out on the wonderful roads around here.

I need to get hold of a new master cylinder and some brake discs. Could you lovely peeps advise on the best place to get these from please?

Thanks in advance.

Are you after a brake or clutch master cylinder, same for discs - front or rear? If you need part #'s you can look them

up here:

http://nissan4u.com/parts/300zx/

Be aware the above parts database is for UK/Euro and USA specs, but most parts are the same for Jspecs (RHD). If you want to double

check then PM me your VIN and I will look them up for you in the Nissan FAST database.

You can buy from Mike@MJP on here, or alternatively this UK online seller:

There is a used cylinder on e-bay from a jap breaker specialist around £120 from memory, or failing that a reseal kit for yours will be around £25 (rather than £300 for new) and is simple to do ( tech thread link on how to below) discs on e-bay from Mtec or brake depot ( £110 ish for fronts with mintex pads) , good price and quality. Don`t be afraid of ebay stuff, these days many, many traders use e-bay as an addition to their shop fronts.

Hi guys. Hope everyone enjoying their Zs in this lovely spring sunshine. I'm still having a job trying to locate a brake master cylinder. My mechanic has apparently tried Z Centre, All Car Parts Fast and Mike @ MJP with no luck. Says he's located one in Japan at a cost of £350 + VAT and import duty, which would take a month to arrive. He's already had the car for several months and am trying to find one quicker so I can get back on the road. Anyone have any further suggestions please? Thanks in advance for any help.

To help you loocate a new BMC, based on your car being a GCZ32 TT Automatic built in Dec '90 (remember I don't have a VIN

that works from you). These are these are the part#s.

46010-40P02 (BM57 17/16 made by Tokico) or 46010-40P22 (BM57 17/16 made by Nabco). Interchangeable parts.

Thanks for your help. I've only just seen your PM Andrew, sorry. I have asked my mechanic to check the VIN for me as the car is not here. If anyone comes across anything suitable, please would you let me know. I've asked my mechanic whether the reseal kit would be viable in the meantime.
