GOODBYE BOMEX FRONT BUMPER

20180916_125659.jpg

HELLO TT FRONT BUMPER 20180916_184533.jpg

today I got stuck into the front bumper to get the car ready for MOT, yes I am aware there is a gap issue on the edges, but was just glad to get it on. I will be taking it back off when it's due to get painted don't know when though, strengthening plates on the side may have not been good and straight..

I will when I can rearrange my pics and create a build from when I got the car to me ripping off the side skirts and bumpers.

Looking forward to your rebuild thread Trev .:thumbup1:

just gonna keep it as standard as I can with a few subtle touches Gary..

frigging bolts and studs were snapping off the wing and where the bracket for the bumper goes under nose cone, so it was out with the drill,

something happened to near side brake pipe that's hidden away up behind engine and looks like some type of cover, just popped on the last bit of the test. that was it soz mate can't do nowt for ya.. dam dam, as well glad happened there.

so I wont get time to work on it as now packing for new job in englandshire, but will get him sorted soon with timing belts, clutch etc and a paint job..

In good hands now mate and after some paint it will look great as well. Nice to see it saved and improved as to many are being broken when small things go wrong.:thumbup1:

thanks Gary, yeah car is standard engine no mods. so it's getting timing kit 120k, standard clutch full service, single prop that I forgot I had asked about, and sort my power steering out also, and few odd jobs..
