New Member - Advice Required - 300ZX Z32 Specialist Required MK or West Midlands

Hi Fellow Z Members,

I've just bought a 93 300zx z32 and would like some advice and recommendations for a 300zx specialist either in and around Milton Keynes or then the West Midlands.

Any help and suggestions are welcome, also looking for a reputable bodyshop in either area to tidy up the bodywork and paint.

Many Thanks

Kind Regards

MalikLFC

Hello and welcome! :)

The main recommendation thrown around here is Jimmer at PowerZed for anything specialist.

Yeah Z Centre are good for parts if they have it in !

Also I've heard good things on Outlaw Customs based in Doncaster.

Hi, Yes, the car is being washed and polished on Saturday, so will post pictures up then

The only specialist with a perfect record and qualifications is Jimmer @ PowerZed. I personally wouldn't take it anywhere else as no one can match him for knowledge and quality of workmanship, not even come close.

Howdy, are you the chap who I met at Himley recently, TK3 NA Z ??

Nope, I just bought the car on Wednesday evening.

Hi, I'm in Solihull

Welcome to the Club, as stated, Jimmer @ Powerzed is the first and foremost expert in Europe, let alone the UK

Let’s see some pics of your Z :thumbup1:

Hi, and thank you, are Z Centre any good?

No, Zcentre work out of the owners house in Nottingham, the workshop they use for mechanical work is not a 300zx specialist but a 4x4 specialist, enough said.

Hi Jeff,

Is Zedworld closed down now?

Hi Jeff,

Is Zedworld closed down now?

Well not so much closed down, but saw an opportunity to take early semi -retirement so after 20 years hung up my UK Z spanners and headed for the sun..

Jim is definitely you man for any specialist work.

Here is another example of someone missing Jeff at Tamworth! He did great work (and advice) for me.

Question - I need to have inner wing corrosion sorted. It's not at MoT failure stage, but just want it done. In the good old days, I would have driven down to let Jeff sort it out.

So question - as I am getting different answers from different body shops - does the front panel have to come off to enable one to remove the front wings?

And if anyone can recommend a good body shop here in Scotland with which they would trust their Z32, I would really like to know.
