Hi guys,

The other week I noticed that my rear OEM rear spoiler is starting to go on the edges so damp has got in to the rubber stuff and it's started to bubble on the paintwork - a common problem I know and was warned about.

Apart from the Zcentre does anyone know of any available stockists and fitters in the N. London, Herts. area for rear spoiler f/g?

Thanks,

Geoff.

This is just a suggestion mate, take the spoiler off and leave it off, i personally think that ZXTT's look sweet without it! Although I know that Luke at the Z centre duz a fibre glass replacement one, so u wont get any probs with the water getting in2 it again!

Take it easy,

Thanks mate,

But if you remove it - you've got to cover holes etc. - I know thw Z centre does a skin for the cover up. Thanks anyway.

Geoff.

I have heard that the Z TT reall needs that rear spoiler. People say that the car doesnt feel as solid at the back at higher speeds.

Also when you take the wing off you will most probably find the paint under there isnt the best and there will be some surface rust. If you can sand it off fill it smooth it and then spray it go for the no spoiler look if you want it. However you may find that the under the spoiler is a little too bad condition to have on view. It was with mine. I just got rid of the rust, treated it, painted it with a brush then put the spoiler ontop.

I have a complete tailgate you can have for £100, but you'd have to get it resprayed, unless you happened to have a satin red Z. Its in near perfect condition.

Thanks
