The part# for the bonnet stay clip is 65722-01E00 (Clamp-rod hood). If you can't get a good s/h one then there is a new

one on eBay at the moment (for reasonable postage):

You can also try Mike@MJP (Club trader on here) or http://www.allcarpartsfast.co.uk/nissan/nissan-6572201e00-clamp-hood-rod/

What do you mean by 'Squib'?

That part is the HICAS steering angle sensor and is not part of the indicator(s) circuit. Which fuse is blowing?

Hi Andrew.

Can you point me in the direction of any part number catalogues?

I notice you always seem to know.

When i had bmw's I used a website called real oem which had full pdf schematics of the entire car and parts with the relevant part numbers.

Anything like that for these 300's?

This is a good online catalogue - select the Europe (right-hand drive):

http://nissan4u.com/parts/300zx/

Allthough this resource is for UK and Euro spec cars it will also cover Jspec as the RHD parts are usually common. If

you want to cross check a particular part I can do that with my copy of Nissan FAST. Just PM me your VIN.

Thanks Andrew, I had a look but I must need to work out what month mine was produced as when I select it doesn't go to anything at all.

Mines a UK spec 1994

As your car is a UK spec you can look up the build date here (using the cars's VIN):

https://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?188643

Select the 300ZX TT UK RHD (1992-03>1993-12) and Show 1000 entries filters

Any problems let me know.

I must be a dim wit, found my vin, can't for the life of me find the build date thoScreenshot_20180501-211200.jpg

Sorry you are right I got the wrong end of the stick from my guys at the garage. The indicators are now working no problem. However they have informed me the squib was shorting out and is faulty, they have disconnected it for me for now as it was actually a fire hazard and I need to replace it.
