After speaking to our polish friend about the leather gators (boots) for the gear shift and handbrake.

He has set up a group buy. The prices started a lot higher but since we now have over 25 people interested in these from other forums the prices have come down to their lowest:

A set of boot (handbrake and gear shift) £24.

Single boot £15.

These come in all colours and even come with different colour stitching.

If you compare this Italian leather to the ones they sell in Halfords for £28.99 you would expect to pay about £70 per boot.

If you are interested send me a PM and I'll give you more info.

The group buy closes on 22nd Jan so the quicker you respond the better.

You need to give Maciek a shout to find out if he can do you a special deal. I'll send you a mail about the boots and you can contact him directly.

Hi Stuart,

I did mate. Sent them last night to what ever mail address you used to register here. IF you didn;t get it send me a PM with the e-mail address I should use and I'll send it again as soon as I get in tonight.

How do we pay in Sterling? The paypal page will only let me enter dollars!

And if I have to enter dollars, how much is £24 in greenbacks?

Cheers,

Chris

You can pay in GBP. There is a drop down menu at the top to change currency.

Not on my paypal payments details screen!

There's a question mark box which says they'll convert the currencies into whatever they need to be but no drop down option to select the currency you want to pay with.

I've contacted Maciek directly who'll hopefully be able to help me out.

I've got the same problem with my paypal screen; I can't make it convert to GBP !

If you find out how to make it convert could you pass it on to me please ?

Cheers !

Konrad,

I contacted Maciek directly via e-mail and he replied within a couple of hours telling me how much it was in dollars.

He suggested the following "I'm not sure how it goes with changing currencies, but the simplest way to pay in GBP should be to go to http://www.paypal.co.uk and send money from there to us. Our account is PayPal@boots.hypermart.net"

But it looked like I had to sign up to stuff and all that rubbish so I just paid him in dollars. ;)

Send him a mail and i'm sure he'll agree the same with you. My boots are getting shipped on Monday - Black with Silver Thread

:D :D :D

ps. cheers for organising this Stuart.

Cheers Cerb !

I'm happy to do the same and pay in dollars !

What does it come to (just for the two boots @£25) ?

Konrad

£25 is roughly $40 ($40.32c depending on exchange rate at the time). I paid $40 and haven't heard anything to ay it wasn't enough.
