So, I've been here for years now and have seen many zeds come and go. Some of my favourites being here in the northeast. Anyway, I thoughts I'd make a thread about old favourite to try and drum up some interest.

So, what are your old favourites and where are they now if you know.

The Fridge:

So this was owned by PaulG who put the kit on and painted the car himself in his garage. Shockingly, I remember FunkySi saying he quite liked the car. I personally loved it, veilside Supra spoiler and all. The car sold sold to someone abroad, initially having a wheel change and the spoiler removed before having a complete new colour and look.

The first wide arch I ever remember properly was Alan (gruntpa64). Pretty sure that was originally a PPS produced car.

Alan was a good chap too.

Changed hands a couple of times since, here's a recent photo of it.

I pop in here every now and then to see whats going on. Still running the CLK AMG Vert but mainly drive the van in the week. I do miss the Shorty every now and then.

As mentioned above. Vince still has the car but it's sitting pretty doing nothing for almost the full year, every year. Will always be the most bling engine bay in history for those who don't know it. I've also added some of the stupid piss take bits I had saved.

I don't have load of photos of his car on my iPad so I'll upload some more later

Jays black SWB wide arch....think you found a pic not long ago of it?

And who had that orange one? Want to say username 'monster' or something! Specced out by a big tuning company who's name escapes me at the mo...not necessarily my cup of tea but it was interesting!

The orange one will have been the penroof car. From memory I think it was brought in up here in Newcastle and there was a fair buzz about it. But it fizzled out pretty quickly and the car stopped being spoken about, although I did see something or other a year or 2 back, but I can't remember what it was now.

I'm going to assume the black car is this one

JAY (I think that was his name)

This was one of my favourite zeds. It sold for a fairly cheap price years ago and I don't recall seeing it since. I believe the forum member also sadly passed away. But this zed was a real beauty

The orange one that Monster owned was a Pentroof tuned Z. I remember him saying he had to sell it for fear of his life!

That's the one! Seemed to remember him being a nice guy. Love to see some pics of it...

I'm pretty sure that Pentroof Z was sold overseas. It went to Canada or something I think.

Assuming you want to see the pentroof demo car, here it is:

BAZZ

This was IMO the most popular car that BAZZ had. And he's had loads of zeds. I believe the car was broken and the wheels sold. BAZZ is still around on here.

Zebedee.

The original owner sadly passed away a couple of years ago and shortly before then, the car made its way to Ian Greenfield to continue to look after in the spirit of how it should be. This Version R is a real stunning example

CeeJay - Red Wide Arch

This was Chris' car for as long as I can remember and yes, the spoiler is removable. Unfortunately Chris lost control at a track based event hosted by Nissan at Donnington Park in July 2015 which ruined the backend of the car. It's currently sat in Dasstech Garage awaiting repair

Haha, that hideous mess was Karl300zx's car. One of the ugliest Z32s to come out of England.

That's James Themis' car. I liked it too. He's still got it.

Speaking of old Members, I still see Chunk on a regular basis, he says Hi to all the old crew that would remember him.

Andy Isherwood’s Car was always one of my favs. Wasn’t personally a fan of the rear light conversion, but as with most things with Andy’s car, it was very well done.

Spoke to him this evening as it happens, he’s umming and aaaahing about getting another Z.

Yes that was another shorty I liked...in fact I bought it.....or what was left of it lol, some might say I ruined it

CJ won't be seeing that for a few years then... :whistling:

Well tell him to pull his finger out! He had a lovely SWB and his attention to detail was superb. I would be great to see him back in a Z32.

Fortunately neither Chris nor his passenger were hurt. However all Z32s were banned from the track for the rest of the event.
