Hi, thought I should start a new thread, and try and collate all the various work that the car has had since my 9 years of ownership. I cannot believe its been 9 years! and finally my Zed is going to get the respray she deserves.

I have spent the last few weeks deliberating on what colour to go for, and have decided to stick with red. At the moment that's as far as its got though, the shortlist of reds is still at 4/5 options, so more pouring over photos and visiting the odd showroom to help with the decision process. Many thanks to those of you who supplied photos and information on colours, wheels etc.

I will add some key previous threads to this post, along with photos of the stripping of the car and its subsequent paint job. I cannot wait for the beginning of February when the car is due to be transported to Kraftwork.

Just need to get all the trim etc back on over the next few weeks.

Oh and order the new lips for the Equips

Judging by your smile, I’d say you’re delighted mate:clap: Congratulations on building a beautiful car, that grey looks stunning

That looks great Howard, very stylish.

Why have you left the edge where the roof panels sit red though, are you putting red flashes on the car or will the red be hidden?

Hey Howard, regarding the Equips, have you looked into the bolt pattern on the Image wheels?? It would be handy if you could just swap out the centres??

Hey Rich, hadn't even thought of that TBH. I will be carrying out the final test fitting of the Equips on Saturday, to judge what new lip size I require. So I will defiantly check out the patterns....., IIRC correctly the Equips have a reverse mounted lip, so a lot will depend on the Image wheels having the same lip mounitng.

No harm in trying, you'd still have a set of Image wheels with a more saleable sizing to sell to a wider audience:thumbup1:

Went round to do the passenger side, and some how I have lost one of the small plastic fittings that clip onto one of the actuating rods......:blushing:
