Need help in engine bay

When looking at the engine there is a bottle behind the right light with coolant written on the cap of it. What is this?

That be the coolant expansion tank my friend....

Coolant top up - the cap on the rad should be up to the brim. This small pipe tops up the resevoir.

Ahhh.

The radiator is full to the top, but the coolant in this bottle thing is a little low. What coolant do I put in it and where can I get some from?

Thanks for your help guys

Stu

Tap water will do, better still distilled water (doesn't clog up the engine with crud if you have hard water), should have a suitable mix of anti-freeze for the winter though.

Is that it?

OK I was expecting some strange liquid that is more than expencive than gold needed. Everything else on the car is expencive and complicated.

Thanks

Stuart

If you're topping up I would suggest Anit-Freeze/Summer coolant from Harry's. I never like putting water into an engine!

IMHO!
