93 auto transmission fluid check and top up

I have just checked the ATF on my 93 N/A, warmed the car up, put it into Park, dipped and oil nearly clear with a tint of red, re-dipped after cleaning and no show on the dipstick. so I suppose a top up is required. I have Castrol ATF TQ DIII spare, is that ok to use?

    Yeah dexron 3 is the stuff. Repeatedly pour it into the dipstick slowly and cycle the gears until it shows the level
