Evening everyone

I took the car out for a small drive the other day and noticed one of the injectors making a lot of noise. After about ten minutes is started to quieten down and another minute later it was silent. I've had a small amount of noise from injectors in my other 300 but this was very loud. Is it a sign there's a big problem coming my way, will fuel system cleaning additive help, will I need to replace the injectors? Any other input welcome.

Cheers,

Chris.

Noisy lifters is a common problem. Sometimes an oil additive helps.

Does it sound like this?

More of a ticking sound than that Alic.

Not 100% sure Andrew as I'm no expert. I'll try and get a sound clip.
