The pricing seems a little high with the front offset being high, along with the centrecaps not matching the finish of the wheel (though it's nice to see a full set of caps). These aren't the only set though buddy, I've come across at least 6 other sets in the past few years trawling through uk ebay.

I would suggest if you want to move them on it may be wise to lower the price a bit, The last 2 sets of wheels I sold within this bracket for were 1) 18x10 et22 Blitz Technospeed Z1 with the factory blitz wheel caps (£1400) and 2) 17x10 Panasport G7C refurbished to brand new quality with brand new performance tyres (£1200)

The wheels that tend to fetch the biggest money are for the GTR guys 17 or 18x10 all round square fitment (i think this looks well on a Z32 too)

All the best with the sale though you might get lucky :)

Past 2 years? Come on we can all find wheels if you look hard enough, he probably means for sale right now. I had the hyper sport version and sold mine earlier this year for £500 unrefurbished (which is just as irrelevant as mentioning any other wheel because of variables).

Not everyone wants to alter their body to fit low offset wheels, admittedly lower offsets do obviously sell for more (depending on what car) but these might fit the zx's perfectly (they look good fitment on pics) in which case he's selling them in the right place and someone will be willing to pay a good price even if it's not 1200 quid.

Your wheel prices aren't all that relevant- because you sold a set of split rims for a certain price doesn't mean that these are only worth a certain amount - it's subjective with wheels.

Any car owner is willing to pay good money for wheels, especially staggered sets in my opinion because of drifting and the fact most Japanese cars are rwd. Square wheels aren't really suited to a rear wheel drive car, regardless of tyre size, hence why they come with staggered wheels from factory.

I personally prefer to buy wheels as they are and work on them myself but most people want wheels ready to fit so although personally I think it's also on the high side, on the advert it shows he's open to offers, you add a decent spec, good tyres and the fact they've been re-painted and you've got a good set of wheels tbf.

Yeah he should still get good money! Tbf prices now are a lot higher in general, you could pick up bbs lm for 6-800 not that long ago, now the prices are crazy! Didnt mean offense :)

Rubbish! Maybe knackered ones in 17".

I have posted them for £1200 as thats what one guy told me to advertise them for :) he said that he have sold his set 17" set and he have never seen 18" in uk and its super rare, well I dont know much as I havent researched these wheels before, but by looking at old adverts in US they start from 1.7k usd.

Anyways price drop £999ono haha

None taken S13, just putting my points across mate.

Funkysi- When I owned my GTO a member on a forum sold a set of genuine BBS LM 18's for £350........ That was one of those one off bargains though, they've always been expensive wheels unless you got lucky.

Not rubbish I used to trade wheels and cars pal. I've had more sets of rare jdm wheels than hot dinners ;-)

I've owned literally hundreds of JDM splits/wheels but the term rare gets handed out a lot these days, many wheels that are sold as "rare" aren't that rare tbh, just uncommon to most over here.

Funkysi probably meant that wasn't the going rate, I paid £35 for a set of Gen2 Super Advan splits.... that doesn't mean that's what you could get them for. LM's have always held their money tbf unless you get lucky, it all depends on condition and who you're buying them off/how much interest they have.

That's why I never try and shoot someone's price down unless it's stupid because what I've paid for a set in the past is irrelevant.

Oh yeah, i mean i certainly didn't sell them for peanuts lol. Best 2 deals that sticks out in my mind was an old EF9 SIR in barca green, 50k km's on the clock and suspension and underbody so clean you could eat your dinner of it, the guy was "upgrading" to a galant 2.0... £350 nicker with a full MOT. I almost felt like i was committing a crime.

Other was a 180sx type S kouki in midnight purple - 2.0 n/a auto granted, but looked the part, full 96 model, kouki kit, 180sx branded seats etc. - £1k it was an old granny who had it.

But yeah it fades into irrelevance now because it simply doesn't happen any more :( mores the pity!
