Looking at making a bid for this car on Gumtree, it is to far away to view, has anyone here seen this car in the flesh, he said that he has been at a few meets?

I've seen Sy around on Facebook quite a bit, indeed he put it up for sale there today, but I'm not sure of his forum name.

Finally purchased this and got it delivered yesterday, seems like a good buy so far.

 

I now have a few question which I'm hoping you guys can help with

 

1. Can UK original wheels go straight on and generally how available are they?

 

2. Is the exhaust the same on the tt as an N/A

 

3. Can anyone recommend a garage in the central belt of Scotland to change the timing belt?

 

No doubt I'll have more questions.

Hi mate.

 

The garage that worked on my Zed was Hypertech in Bonnybridge.

 

They were the only people I could find who had worked on them before and also didn't want crazy money at the time.

 

Other places were quoting 800 quid just for the belt to get done.

 

Can't remember exactly but I got the belt/tensioners/water pump etc done for between 300-400.
