Genuine business question, if you were about to pull the trigger on a business deal with a company and found their Companies House credentials had some flaws what would you think / do?

This information is in the public domain and can be seen by all so no issue with privacy or data protection, popped a screen shot below, there is more but it reveals personal details so cropped out, it looks worrying to me.. thoughts please.

Hi Jeff

The compulsory strike off notice is due to failing to file the company returns on time.

File the returns and indicate your intention to carry on trading and its simply cancelled.

It does seem a bit strange that they have had 2 raised in the same year.

Probably nothing sinister (I missed filing a return one year and got one) but worth seeking clarification

Hope that helps

Thanks for any advise on how to rate a Ltd company, not always that clear.

I presume the original post and the accounts are from the same company?

Why would you be increasingly unsure about dealing with this company?

I would not have expected you to be dealing with this company at all, to be honest, although it seems plenty seem to get on fine with them.

Much like many companies, that have supporters and critics of their products or services.

I do wonder at your motivation for bringing it up as a thread, rather than just report back to your third party?

Doh !! the forum membership is the third party ! Craig keep up buddy !

aha, right, ok. although i dont seem to recall seeing a request thread from the forum asking you to do that.

so is this more of a public service announcement from you?

Yes kinda, I am in touch with many of my old customers, many who are here and some who are here but have lost contact and so in the wake of recent events some requests for clarity about the way for forward or more importantly not the way forward for members had been requested, just answering to the masses really rather than individuals.
