Lee Dent - committee update

Good evening all,

I'm sure we are all aware of Tom's sad experience at LA Autos by now; and everyone who has read his thread, knows that we gave Lee Dent until 5pm this evening to respond to the allegations against him - either by e-mail or in the open on the forum.

It is with regret I have to announce, that Lee has not responded. In the absence of a reply - and in the face of further allegations form other members - the committee has reached its unanimous decision on what to do regarding Lee's future in the club.

We had previously removed his trader's status, pending our decision; however since Lee has not come forward to explain himself, the committee feels we have no choice but to ban Lee Dent from the forums; for behaviour unbecoming of a respected and authorised trader. The ban will be recorded as permanent - but in accordance with club policy, Lee will be eligible to request his return after at 12 months from today.

As we have said during the last couple of AGMs, it is never easy banning anyone; nor do we take the decision lightly. However we just cannot have any of our trusted, recommended, traders doing wrong by our members.
