Hello,

Can anyone tell me if there is a difference in wheel offset between UK spec and J-spec TT`s? Or put it another way are aftermarket (or stock) alloys interchangeable between the two models?

Thanks

Ronnie

Can't tell you what the difference in offset is, but they are definitely interchangeable. Have had UK spec rears on mine for about 4 years now.

Well Ronnie

From what I can see in the shop manual they should be the same. The only deference I see is that the NA has a 45 mm offset front and back and turbo 35 and 45.

AndyP,

What about the front wheels? I can see how you can possibly get away with going from a 42 to 45 offset on the rear but what about 35 to 45 offset on the front?

The fronts are the same on all models, US, Jap and Euro, both for NA and TT.

So if I get a set of 18" alloys with an offset of 45 all round, there will no problems? I have a 91 Jap TT.

Unfortunately the ones I'm looking at are 8" wide!

Hi ya - just pulled this off the Takakaira (http://www.takakaira.co.jp) site:

Nissan Fairlady ('89 ~)

Wheel Size: (F) 8.5"x18" / ® 9.5"x18"

Offset: (F) 35 / ® 42

PCD: 114.3 (i.e., distance between studs)

H: 5 (i.e., amount of studs)

Hub: 66 (no clue what this means)

Tyre Size: (F) 235/40-18 / ® 265/35-18

I know it is not exactly what you were looking for but perhaps it helps.

Regards,

Danny

Cheers Danny. Don't suppose anyone knows where I can get some wheels from that will have the correct offsets? I've looked on the zcentre web site but there isn't anything that catches my eye and I'd rather get a package deal as they work out much cheaper. Don't fancy paying nearly £400 a wheel and half that again for the tyres.

try whhel mania. I got mine from there and Im well impressed.

They told me they don't do wheels for Jap cars (or not the Z anyway). First place I went to.
