I,ve been searching both versions of the service manual but cant find the connector pin out for the switch that folds the mirrors in

I have found the adjusting the mirror info, but cant see folding

Can anyone better at this point to the right page?

Not all cars have electrically folding mirrors, l think the difference is import 300s have them but not UK versions. What is the problem you are experiencing.

Ages ago i bought an automatic folding gizmo. Finally got round to wiring it in and needed to know the fold in and fold out wires and there are 4 to chose from

Presumably either 3 or 8 is power to the switch. Any ideas what the other is?

So I wired it up

On connecting battery live the mirrors folded in

On starting ignition mirrors folded out

But that's it, they havnt moved since

All I seem to have achieved is wiring my switch so put is in and in is out

:(

That sentence, are you saying that in on the switch has now become out and out on the switch is now in ?

If so mine with the module does this and i tried once to sort briefly, you'd think it was a case of flipping the wires to the switch but gave up as it mattered no odds to me.

You've wired something wrong, what do the instructions say about the green and blue wires ?

And where have you sent them, mine go to my window closure module and fold the mirrors in when i hold the alarm fob button.

Once power to the vehicle is restored after a while being off my mirrors also react.

Yes that, i wont bother chasing that then

I didnt connect either of em as i read that put it in clever mode or something where turning the ignition on and off waggles the mirrors

I will have to fetch the instructions out the bin
