First we had Hungerford, where some nutter went postal and let rip with a bunch semi-auto assault rifles. The rifles were banned and that was the end of it....ok fair enough

BUT... then we had Dunblane, where a similar thing happened, but this time all the Scots women went mental and got the media in on the act (despite the fact that it was proved that the bloke was a nutter, and that the Police did nothing to take his licence away even though they had been told to do so by the blokes doctor and social workers). As a reult ALL guns that were in the least bit challenging or interesting to shoot were banned.....and that was the end of my hobby.

Now some Scots woman objects to her little bundle of joy being given detention when she has been disruptive, and wants the very last disciplinary route available to teachers to be banned as well ! (She wants a TIBUNAL to disciplne kids in school FFS, and will probably get it too!)

Is that the general mentality of Scots birds...BAN IT!!

What is this sodding world comming to?

I hate the way this country is turning

Anyone remember the case where the burglar fell through the skylight of the house he was about to rampage - and sued.

Or the one where another burglar left his victim's house through the sidedoor into the garage, and got locked in cos the garage mechanism had broken. He sued too. I'm soory but theres no way you should have to make your house "safe" for intruders!

The buckle end of the headmasters belt never did me any harm, long term anyway ;)

Its the criminal is a victim because they have no money. The reason some one theives is because they have no money and for some reason they take pitty on that. The take pitty on people who take drugs who then steal to pay for them. In the end it's not their fault they stole. They have a bad drugs problem they need to keep up.

BOLLOCKS!

Do 35 in a 30 zone you get a £60 fine 3 points on your licence which will affect your insurance premium for 5 years. So basically 5 years later you are still paying for it.

Break into some ones house by smashing a window, breaking a lock and take thousands of pounds of other peoples stuff, lots are irriplaciable, and you will get a way with a warning and they are back in someones elses house later that evening.

I break into some ones house, and I will have the book thrown at me, because I have no habbit to feed. I dont really need to steal to live a nice life. No cos I have a job. I should know better and the only reason I was stealing was for the thrill.

Pisses me off this country's justice system.

WHENEVER a government makes legislation based upon kneejerk reaction to out of the ordinary situation, it all gets f***ed up.
