I have one of my Zed's on ebay and thought I would post on here also.
It's a 1993 silver manual TT. Some of you will have seen it I know. It has been my personal project for three years and I have put alot of time into it. It is now running well, bar a few niggly little issues (really small power steering leak as an example). The MOT runs out next May 2018.
Advert is here: - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/OEM-Nissan-300zx-Twin-Turbo-LWB-Manual-gearbox-REDUCED-/182668171799?hash=item2a87df1a17:g:PIMAAOSw-29ZWo7h
I am in no rush to sell it, but it is taking up driveway space and is still taxed and insured. It is like many cars on here, a joy to drive and in the sun, with the targas off, it is very pleasant. I have had convertibles in the past and the t-top route is just a bit quieter in my opinion for wind-noise.
The car probably needs some more attention to make it into a really good Zed. The main thing is the paintwork as it is 24 years old, and needs attention in a few areas - like where I got the drivers sill recently welded (don't like any rust on a Zed!). The other thing that might annoy is the drivers seat bolster - again as we know this is a common issue!
So, I am open to offers for this Zed. I am getting silly offers from Ebayers (since when was £1500 a realistic price for a working manual TT Zed?? - fools, they obviously want to make money on it and think I am desperate to sell. If I had a wet kipper I could wrap around their chops, it would have been done. Multiple times.
If anyone is interested, please just let me know, and come and see it in person. It's not a bad Zed - not as good as some on here of course! If it hasn't sold by the time SimplyJap is on, then I will come in it then with a great big "For Sale" sign on it!
I have listed it on ebay at £5.5k as I think this is reasonable for a 76k mile manual TT (not converted). It seems that around the 6k there are quite a few similar condition cars, and then £8k+ are the really decent examples. The registration plate I am in two minds to keep or remove as it is dateless and I am asking for a bit more for it. If it is not required, the car will have a K registration. Overall, this car with a small bit more effort could be a really good Zed for someone.
Any questions, please just ask me!
