Can anyone shed any light as to what the cause may be for my clutch now working? can't engage gears while running when pressing the clutch. feels like there is nothing there. need it working so body shop can move the car to start the work.

Hydraulic fluid leak, needs bleeding, clutch master or slave gone, pedal might need adjusting as well.

 

Guess the fork could have fallen off somehow but I'd be surprised at that!

 

Or more dramatically you could have snapped the pressure plate but I'd be even more surprised at that!!

Someone could have nicked your gearbox without you knowing...

I know I've been fasting for the past month but I doubt I was pressing anything other then the clutch!! lol

 

bleed it over, twice

clutch master was recently changed

clutch pedal would need adjusting if it worked. just goes straight down.

doubt fork and plate broke, hope not!!

Hmm odd. Guess you'll have a jack it up and inspect, see if the slave/fork is moving with the pedal.

 

Worth checking the pedal pin hasn't come out I suppose if it feels THAT light.
