I started the rather unusual task today of putting an auto gearbox into a zed that was originally an auto but had a manual conversion. I removed the manual pilot bush and was left with this. It seems to be the right size for the auto shaft, but is this the correct set up? I ordered an auto bush from CZP but as you can see it doesn't seem to for anywhere! Seems to be the same internal diameter as whatever is on the crank at the moment, and fits on the torque converter shaft.

Oddly CZP and Z1 seem to have different part numbers for this bush.

So am I missing something?!?

Just found this in my box of bits, is this the correct part I need? So it will stick out the crank?4fa8559778a31b33d763013b47f8b8c7.jpg639a2562ff9c00729a3b684a62d87d72.jpg

The correct bush is the one you see in the second post, and is much thicker than the first one.

This is strange... any reason you're going back to auto?

Cheers, CZP have the wrong part listed on their website then!

More cost effective to swap the transmissions between my two than buy a whole new setup for my new one, by the time I bought new clutch, lightened flywheel, one piece prop etc

There is a mix up with the listing of the Z31 and Z32 converter there, as said above the larger one just needs tapping i.
