Iain, Thx! - I built the enclosure out of MDF and used an Infinity Kappa 100.1se 10" subwoofer (which has a mounting depth of 5") to keep the overall cabinet depth low. The enclosure is a sealed unit and is bolted to the boot floor using existing fixing points. It did take a lot of time to make, but most of that was taken up with getting the dimensions just right. The bass produced does sound OK and the design means that almost no boot space is taken up.

Have you also painted/covered the other panels in the boot as mine are plain hardboard ?

Andy, I replaced the original hardwood panels with painted 6mm MDF cut to suit the shape of the sub enclosure and the amp housing. The whole lot lives under the original boot floor carpet.
