Hello floods on 1/1/03 killed my Z, Water was sucked in to engine, removed plugs and run starter water went everywhere. Replaced plugs engine started then stoped with a clunk, no water in cilinders but engine will not turn over anymore can anyone help???

Thanks Mate, but the bore is fine. Just a small nick in the bottom that came out with a bit of Wet&Dry. If Anyone sees AndyDuff, can you tell him that I am Very, Very, Very interested in that piston/conrod.

Please be careful with another piston, I built a engine using a s/h piston, it was as new, and it made a small end noise, had to put a new one in to stop it in the end.

Just a suggestion but maybe you could price a new piston and rod. it would be a real pain to have to remove the engine a second time. Just a thought.

Wonder what the cost difference would be, i agree with mark here, that would be soul destroying to have to remove whole lot again, whatever the diff it will be cheaper in the long run to fit new. just my two penneth
