Hi guys,

I've noticed quite recently my Z has a very slight vibration on the right side, which you can see from the wing mirror shaking, which on the left hand side it isn't. I have since found out that there is a slight smoke coming out of the right exhaust pipe, with nothing out the left.

Does anyone have any idea what this could be? I'm wondering whether its an injector not firing.

Any help on this would be massively appreciated.

Thanks again guys!

Phil

This type of problem is difficult to diagnose remotely as it could be an injector or a failed plug which could be not actually the plug but the electrics, anyway any of these would result in a loss of power which you have not mentioned.

Thanks for that Old Zed.

I should follow up that I actually believe this problem may have always been present since buying the car, so I'm not 100% sure on what power to expect from it. When revving the engine in neutral I do notice its not quite as smooth as I might otherwise expect, despite its age etc.

Thanks for that though I'll chase down the issue and report back.

Cheers,

When revving at idle, or driving it should be smooth without any shuddering, vibration or shake, something is wrong, could be a simple spark plug change required or a bad connection at coil pack, ptu, injector etc.

Best bet is to get it down to Jimmer at PowerZed for some expert advise and diagnostic, may seem a costly trip but believe me in the long term it will be money in the bank, putting up with or using a zed not running correctly is both unrewarding and can lead to further damage later.

Thanks guys, I think that may be my best option. I think I agree with your comment regards to getting it seen to JeffTT.

Thanks again,
