Looking at getting another one.

Hey been ages since I was last on here as got rid of my z but looking at getting a new one preferably a SWB manual twin turbo and price depends on condition as happy to do a bit of work on it. Was just wondering if any of you guys knew this z and had and thoughts. Price seems steep for a car with an MOT failed and high miles. But maybe things have changed.

    As said, you are taking a huge gamble with a car that failed it's not for many reasons with a price fetching well sorted Zs.

     

    Not worth it IMO but if you want a swb TT manual they are pretty uncommon to come up for sale.

    As a SWB owner I think you might struggle to find a cheap one with prices on the rise at the minute and even one that is a project people don't tend to be selling under 5k especially for a manual shorty turbo. That one listed could probably be talked down a bit. I sold one around 6 years ago for 4K so judging by prices these days 5k for that isn't too bad for the work needed.

    Get yourself subscribed & pm Tubz. I was speaking to him about his swb when I was looking for one. He was planning on getting it to jimmer to fix a few bits & sell it on, nice swb slick top.

    Yeah will hopefully subscribe tonight. Thanks but needs to be a targa to for me. I know I'm being picky but don't mind a project as long as the shell is good.
