I know Znut was asking about his old car not that long ago.

Want to buy it back, fella? Here's your chance!

:thumbup1:

Thanks for the heads up Simon and yes i have been slurping earlier this week when someone else spotted it for me:drool:...Although i know its a very good car or was when i let go of it at this present time i cant find the willpower to scrape £6.5K from under the bed....A swb manwell of the same mechanical quality and S2 dressed and ide be inclined to start reaching for my phone to try iron out a deal. It does,nt help that ive just bought the wife a 1969 Triumph spitfire and pick that up end of Feb. On the subject of rising classic car prices, has anyone seen how these spitfires and early MG,s have shot up in price:shock:

Evening all, hope you're well Brian.

Thought I'd pipe up and reassure you it's still a very good car! It's been stored in a garage all the time I've owned it, except for 6 months in the summer up to October last year.

Had it up on the ramps again before I put the ad up to give it a once over and still in great condition no rust or anything. It's never let me down at all apart from the clutch master cylinder which was replaced.

Have absolutely loved owning and I am torn even advertising it let alone selling, but unfortunately circumstances mean I just don't use it enough to warrant the cost of keeping it on the road and I can't bear to let it sit. I must have only driven it a dozen times this year. I know for a fact I'm going to be kicking myself in 5 years time when I want it back and have the time to properly enjoy it.

If anyone on here is interested give me a shout, like the ad says I'm open to offers.

As you guys may remember it needs minor tidying up to make it perfect. My plans to do so were rudely interrupted by life. Working full time, doing a uni degree part time and renovating a house doesn't leave much time...
