Steve,

Ring and ask Pete or Bob at SE, I maybe wrong here but I think Nelson quote about 8 hours. Mine was pulled by Arriva Nissan in Peterborough.

SE charge a fixed price for pull and refitting and Nissans price is rediculous in comparison.

My advice? Ring Bob Ford at Arriva and ask him over the dog and bone, then ring SE.

My local Nissan up here charged someone I know over 1k,engine out, replace manifold gasket, engine back in.

autodata figures (which are normally from oem data) are 9.2hrs remove & install.

cheers guys,

so at 40 quid an hour it works out that for 9.2 hr i should pay no more than 432.40p inc of VAT for the engine to be taken out. so thats a grand gone just in removing and fitting the engine.

thats remove AND install time steve. not each way.
