Just a thought and it might be a less painful alternative.

 

Do you hold the mortgage on your house? If so has the value increased considerably recently? If so what about an Equity Release Loan?

 

You can run it over the term of the mortgage i.e. 22 yrs etc. so, as an example £12K would cost you as little as £75 pcm given the current interest rates.

 

But just remember, whatever you do KEEP THE ZED!
