Hi all,

 

I would like this to be the sign up thread only for this. There is another thread in this section with details, chat etc. regarding the event. Ill make a poster for each event containing all info needed when sorted and organised. Numbers will need to be submitted 7 days before the event and so we have plenty of time to get your names down. I would like to get other Zed forums involved so if anyone knows anyone in them could I ask a cheeky favour to pass this on or give me the details/email and ill do it. Thank you.

 

A small, free, special edition decal for every attendee will also be included.

Keep em coming guys. Remember the museum is free and is spectacular if you have never been before. Parking I think is £4 only. Should be great. I am going to post else where too and see if I cant get as many of the other Zeds along too 350, 370, 280 etc

is there anyone who can be first port of call on the day for the Cosford staff please as I have double booked and will be at work for the weekend....ARRRGGGHHH!!!! Was so looking forward to this. I will continue to organise, rally around to get other clubs and marques at the event, all I need is someone to get there earlier and a person who doesn't mind arranging the cars and speaking to Cosford should they need you. I will do everything else.

Come on guys Steve needs a little help on this one. Who's up for it?

I'd volunteer myself but I'll have my 3 year old with me so might be difficult depending on what needs to be done. Maybe a few of us could get there a bit earlier.

It wont need a lot. I will organise everything, just a person or two to get there 20 minutes earlier to help get cars in position outside the hanger....then enjoy the day. TBH probably wouldn't even need that. Steve

That's great guys, will not need much at all. I will contact cosford tomorrow and let them know I wont be there.

I contacted the Cosford team and this is what I have been sent. The only major difference seems to be the start time that they want us there however I have expressed that not everyone may get that memo and so may still turn up between 9 and 10:

Yes all is fine regarding your up and coming booking on 25th June.

 

I was just going to contact you as I was wondering if you have confirmation of numbers yet? It would also be appreciated if you can arrive for 10:00hrs as we have had some problems with groups arriving prior to opening time. You will all be parking beside our Research and Development/ War in the Air Hangar and our National Cold War Exhibition. There will be signage direction the cars to the area but we recommend that you provide your own marshals to assist with the car parking (hi-vis must be worn). 15mph speed limit must be adhered to whilst on site. Can you also make sure that no other car group joins yours on the day as we have incidents lately when this has happened.

 

Tickets must be purchased for car parking and the cost will be £3.00 for up to 3 hours or £4.00 for all day.

 

Strictly no selling or charity fundraising is permitted on site.

 

External structures are not permitted, this includes gazebos, flags etc. without any prior agreement and exchange of insurances and relevant assessments.
