This is thorough but sometimes a bit hard to follow

There are quite a few quirks when doing it so don't hesitate to shoot me a message as its fresh in my mind.

Some people on here have done it without removing the dash, it wasn't a problem removing it for me and made it 10x easier, but your choice.

The Americans have to remove the entire dash because the clutch pedal is up against the side of the car on a LHD.

Us RHD people can simply remove the gauge cluster and have easy and complete access to that awkward top bolt when fitting the clutch pedal. :thumbup1:

Have not read the link but see the mention of dash removal and nearly spat out my breakfast ! having done scores of conversions I can confirm never in a million years would you need to take out the dashboard on a rhd zed ! in fact the work to do that amounts to a big part of the conversion.

In a workshop its a days work, if you have done it before or at least done a heater matrix swap the clutch and brake pedal part of the job should take no longer than 1 hour, take the seat out lay on your back and its easy.

Spot on Jeff, but l did get you to fit the top bolt on my clutch pedal on my first Zed, embarassing really, l messed about for hours and failed so l came up to you and you did it while l waited. Experience counts.

Jeff

Spot on Jeff but l did bring my first Zed to you to fit the vertical bolt in the clutch pedal which l messed about with for hours and failed. You fitted it while l waited, you show off. Lol.

Yeh remember that, just a wiggle here and there eh?
