Wheels

Can only get 3 turns on the nuts with the wheels on my new import, so not really very safe! I'm going to swap the wheels over from my old zed, but I don't want to leave that one with unsafe wheels either!

The wheels don't have to be stock (though that would be nice), I don't really care what they are tbh so long as they fit reasonably well. 4 reasonable tyres would be ideal so I don't have to mess about with them.

I'm in Wokingham (near Reading) but willing to travel a bit. What have you got?!?

Why can you only get three turns, Chris...?

Might sound daft, but are you using the right nuts?

To be fair I hadn't thought of that! I haven't changed anything about them myself, just noticed when I took the wheels off for a nose around. Haven't looked at the backs, it's the fronts I took off, they do have what I think are 5mm spacers on them but still, shouldn't cause this. I'll whip a nut off and have a look tonight, thanks for the thought!

Ha-ha yes but the wheels are disgusting anyway! This doesn't show it very well but they're sooo tucked into the arch and need spacers even to clear the stock front calipers

I'm only going to be selling the car I need the wheels for, so much less hassle not messing around with the studs, especially as the new owner may very well not want them anyway

So had a look and they're spaced out 10mm to clear the brakes, so that's why I can only get a few turns in. So still looking for some wheels
