Just compression tested my tt and got average of 133psi on 5 cylinders got 50psi on cylinder 6, is 133 good for one of these engines? Whats the most likely cause for 6 to be less than half of the others?

Mmmm, depending on mileage, I think you should be looking for 160psi plus.

As for no' 6? I believe this is very vulnerable due to overheating and could be quite serious.

However, having said that, what conditions were you testing at? ie engine temp' etc.

Mileage shows 112 not sure if mikes or kilometers as its an import, test conditions were all spark plugs removed, injectors left in, engine cold as it doesnt currently run so was testing to see if compression could be a cause for non running

A warm engine is an important criterion when doing a compression test, all of those figures will rise when warm even the lowest number six cylinder which is tragically low.

Unable to do a warm test as it wont run this was part of diagnosis on the problem of non starting

So should it be tested warm then Jeff?

I've seen the figure which states a TT engine is perfect at 175psi, but wasn't sure if that was hot or cold.
