After a pair of targas to salvage parts from. Specifically the black edges that are bonded around the three sides of the glass. And the interior plastic end caps. So not worried about the rest unless the targas are in all round really good condition...

Kind of. I got them off, but I managed to bend one slightly. I've not tried bending it back yet, but trying to bend a metal channel back the other way is going to buckle the sides. And I think dressing it afterwards is going to mash the plastic coating.

 

All the edges had 3 little dabs of adhesive (left, middle, right) but this bent one had way more. I soaked them with isopropyl alcohol which helped break the bond quite a bit. There is also a 2x2 inch metal corner bracket that helps keep the corners joined together.
