I have a Apexi Turbo Timer that I want to fit. However looking at the wiring diagram it links to the ignition. My Toad alarm cuts power to the ignition, so does this mean that the engine will shut off when I lock the car?

 

If so how can I get around this?

I have some great big fat rectifier diodes inline at the ignition, more than one so they can 'cope', trouble is it was a while ago i fit and i cannot remember exactly where and to which wire but am sure i've given you a possible work around or 'fix', trial and error initially with the diodes might get you there.

 

I can walk away from mine, lock and it continues counting down.
