My little boy has been playing with the normal lego for a while now and he loves it so I thought I would introduce him to the world of lego technic!
Over the past weekend I went up into my parents loft and found my HUGE stash of lego from when I was a nipper, it's all the old lego technic from 1985 to 1990.
I gave it all a nice wash in warm soapy water just to freshen it up and laid it out to dry.
I presented him with it last night and his eyes lit up at the sight of gears sprockets chains driveshafts universal joints axles pneumatic cylinders and valves etc.
It brought back some great memories playing with him and it just goes to show how timeless lego really is, it's great that all the modern day bits still interact with the old stuff.
I think kids grow up too fast in the current world and have too much too young, I like to see kids be kids for as long as possible as life is tough when your an adult.....
