it seems to me that people dont keep their zeds very long, perhaps not realising until its too late just how much these cars cost to run. so the question is how long have tou owned your zed?

cheers

I've had mine about 2 months now. Spent £200 so far excluding tax, fuel( ) and insurance. Going into Zedworld at the end of Jan for £800 or so of work! :D

Ivan

So what you're saying is that you've had it two months ;) :D

Had mine for 12 months now & have somehow managed to spend £11.5k (+ the price of the car) on it

4 and a half years, of which I used it as my main car for 3 years.

I had to have new clutches in the auto box, which cost a lot 'cause I got strengthened ones put in.

It also chewed through 3 sets of disks (mainly on track) before I upgraded to AP 6 pots.

Other than that the only problem I've had is worn turbos, which are now masked for a while by the TurboTechnics back-pressure simulation kit.

Spent a fortune in servicing though

It doesn't go out much now (especially in this weather!!)

By looking at your list of mods, I'd say it's £11.5k well spent :D
