Thought I would post these up now, although they won't be coming off the car until my new setup arrives. (1-2 working days)

Brembo front calipers in black, disks are DBA drilled and grooved with hardly any wear on them. I do not know what pads are in the calipers as they were in there when I bought the car, but you can see from the photo there is plenty of material left on them.

For now I only have pictures of the N/S as I need to remove he car from the garage to get the O/S wheel off. Will update over the weekend.

great set-up got these on my Z front and back a bargain for someone

dan :thumbup1:

Interested in these, am i right in thinking they're straight bolt on with no adaptors/extra parts needed?

Do you know if ill have any issues fitting these under some Work Equips 17x8.5 et35?

Edited by N300TT

As long as Howard sells you the bolts to mount them, they will bolt straight up no probs. With the discs/pads supplied too it's a very well priced front brake package.

My instinct suggests that your equips will go over the brembos just fine but caution is always necessary with regards offset clearance.

How close are your current OEM calipers to the inside of the spokes on the equips as its this clearance that could catch you out. With an 8.5 et35 you have room to play with anyway, if it was me I'd stick 10-15mm spacers in which would almost certainly give you enough clearance.

Diameter wise, they should go over fine. The OEM R33 GTR wheels are 17" and generally it's the cheaper wheels that have a bulky inside barrel.

Your not that far from Howard, why not pop over and have a test fit with one of your wheels on his car?

Yeah my worry is the offset as these are the clearance already with a 15mm spacer...:crying:

Based on that photo and the fact you're close to Howard. Take your 15mm spacers round and try them on! The spokes do gradually taper out towards the rim and as the caliper will be positioned further out, there is a "chance"!

You still have the option of larger spacers as you look to have a bit of clearance as the wheel sits under the arch. Are they et50 wheels with 15mm spacers (et35 effective) or et35 with 15mm spacers (et20 effective)?

Edited by Joely P

Wheels are +35 plus the 15mm spacer makes it +20

Unfortunately I don't think I'll have time to go and test fit before Howard removes them as I'm working and then go away next week.

But stuff it. I'll take them anway and then figure it out after lol

Pm coming your way :)

Fingers crossed for you! BTW if you don't mind me saying your Work Equip wheels could do with some TLC. They

are now very rare Japanese super-face wheels and as such were designed with large brake setups in mind.

That's the plan :) they were bought in that condition with the intention of getting the broken down and fully refurbished :) absolutely loves these wheels and took quite some convincing the old man to buy them haha
