I don't know where to start but couple of days back I had a crash in my Z...lucky to be okay, the car was going about 80mph and i thought i was gonna go through the windscreen as i din't have the seatbelts on. I lost the rear end car started to spin and i smashed it in a traffic light.

I need the front Driver-side lower wishbone, anti rollbar (short one from the chasis to wheel as i have been told there are two of them) and the hub. For the rear driverside damage i only need the rear wheel wishbone (or however you spell it:D ).

Now the problem is my car is a SWB TT...........will all the stuff out of a 2+2 TT fit my SWB or is there any difference in size, diameter etc???

I will appreciate any help you lot can provide.

Glad you are OK, but

What road where you doing 80 on with traffic lights and why were you not wearing you belt.

Thanks mate! It was on Great South West Road in Hounslow and i was just comming back from the local bar so i was a bit over confident:p

Anyway does any one know whether above parts from a 2+2 TT would fit a swb TT ?

I be grateful for any help guys

"AMMAR"

I dont think there should be any difference.

If your in London and you need parts you could take the damaged parts to Nippon Spares in Stratford an see if the parts there are any different to your damaged stuff(check they have the parts first):

Nippon Spares

Units A-E,

Invicta Est,

Hunts Lane,

Stratford London,

E15

0800 781 8699 or 0208 519 0500

Or AndyZ may know(if he has broken up a SWB) and would also have the parts(he is down the A2 from the Blackwall tunnel).

Hope this helps

If you were drink driving it is not a funny matter, my dad was almost killed one christmas after being run over. Next time you are drink driving without a seatbelt I hope you do go through the windscreen,

Trev - thanks a lot for all the help. I really appreciate it mate.

Mike- sad to hear about your dad but if you couldn't help me then quite frankly I don't want to hear your stupid wish either!!! You shouldn't think evil about others and if the same thing had happenend to someone in my family, trust me i won't have said what you did.

A sensible advise is only effective if its given in a sensible way

If you do it again, sorry m8 you deserve everything you get, you obviosly can't control a car when you've been drinking. drink driving is stupid, you seem to think it was humourous "bit of confidence", if are behind the wheel of a car drunk it is better you kill yourself first before you kill someone else.

I have no respect for drunk drivers, when i see one i report them to the police, they do nothing but endanger other peoples lives for the sake of a taxi fare home.

I can say what I did because my dad wsan't the idiot behind a wheel who was driving drunk, he was an innocent victim of a drunk speeding through traffic lights.

What did you think? people on here are going to say "haha all a bit of fun" I know a lot of people on here have children and take drink driving very seriously especially when in a powerful sports car. Maybe you should reflect on what led to your accident and praise god that you did not hit an innocent bystander.

Of course if you were sober when this happened none of this applies and I am sorry for your accident.

Totally with you Mike in your sentiments. I lost a school friend from the same year as me to a drunk driver. We were 15 when we attended her funeral.

Ammar - your post certainly suggests that you think that drink was a factor but doesn't actually say it. Perhaps you could clarify before this thread goes the wrong way ?

im with mike, dd is fekking stupid & costs people thier loved ones, i think something like 50%+ of all road deaths are drink driving related.

Am with Paul on this, drink driving is totally unacceptable:( carefull what you post on here ammar,we have a traffic cop who is a member:eek:

admition to posession of drugs in the past is a criminal offence.

If you hit a traffic light you are obliged to report it to the police as you have caused damage to council property.

Have to agree with most of the above, if you ware driving drunk, with no seat belt & at 80 mph on the sort of road that has traffic lights, you are a complete tosser and it's a pity there's never a police car about when you need one.

Far to many people like you drive our sort of cars irresponsively with no respect for the power they have and limited driving ability. Thanks to the likes of you we pay through the nose for insurance and are assumed to all be speed freaks.

Unless, you can confirm you left the bar sober, which I doubt, I don't think you deserve any halp from anyone on here.

???? If you hit a traffic light at 80mph then you and your car would probably be a write off and I doubt that you'd be here to tell the tale!

Most roads with traffic lights have a 30/40mph or at most 60mph limit!

I would say that the general public have had a lucky escape from your ant social antics:mad:

Paul Newman, you are just a Keyboard Warrier so SHUT YOUR MOUTH... I can call you names aswell but there is no point coz we are never gonna come face to face

I'm no f***ing idiot that would get pissed and try to get home FREE (i always get a cab home when i'm over the limit). I only had one Breezer before driving back. it was raining and the road had black ice on it......I ain't the first person to lose control on a zed in that kinda weather condition, am I? I admit being Wrong for not wearing a seatbelt but it's not something i always do.

It had national speed limit where i was driving so wots the trouble with the speed guys? As far as the damaged traffic lights (there was NO damage wot so ever) and d&d is concerned..Please report me to the police if you like... I know FT is a cop but i ain't got nothing to be scared as i ain't done nothing wrong!!!

Thanks a lot everyone for your kind input and i surely don't need any help from you ..........its not a help zone but a war zone where people only criticise without knowing the facts.

"AMMAR"

Well you have to admit that if people 'read between the lines' it did look a bit suspect.

you didn't hit a traffic light at 80mph then.

Ive seen then hit at 30mph and they often fall over.

As i said if you hadn't been drinking then there is no worry, you implied that you had come home from a bar and had a bit of extra courage in you which would be taken by 99% of people as you were drunk.

sorry for your accident, hope you get your car back on the road. You should probably invest in some skin pan lessons with your local police department, they will help you deal with situations such as loosing control and driving in wet conditions.

I don't think it's wrong to care about who else is out there on the road.

It's very uncommon for it to be raining and there be black ice on the road. Not sure how that situation arises but presumably the temperature was a long way below freezing for the falling rain to be freezing so quickly - if that's the case then 80 mph where there are traffic lights hardly sounds responsible.

They must have some wicked traffic lights round your way to be able to withstand an impact which cripples a Z without sustaining any damage to itself. Maybe someone could start to make cars out of that stuff.

Oh, and forgetting about the rest of it, what sort of a name are you trying to give Z drivers by admitting to drinking Breezers ?

Oh. Shit. I started an argument. Sorry!

I know short wheel base cars are shorter, but are they not a little narrower too?

I don't give a flying f**k to whatever you think....

Carry on barking that's what dogs are good at, aren't they :D

I'm very impressed with you wanna be's :p

All i asked for was help. If you peeps could't do that.....din't have to chat shit either

"AMMAR"

Not sure why you need to post abuse.

YOU put the details of your crash onto the thread. If you don't like the questions people respond with then just ignore them. If you don't want the questions to be posted then don't post about the circumstances of your crash.

If you put up posts saying that you've been drinking and then crashing, whether over the legal limit or not, then you're going to get comment.

I shudn't post abuse and you shud keep on takin da piss, right?Carry on if it makes you happy...............i ain't stoppin ya, am I???

and another thing, i din't hit the lights at 80mph.............like i said, i lost control of the car and the car carried on swerving and I was trying to stop it (it takes time to stop the car at this speed, don't it). I cudn't avoid it from hitting the lights but by that time the car had slowed down (when i crashed it into lights).

"AMMAR"

HAHAHA..............you are very funny:o (not)

Thank you for confirming you were not drunk Ammar, I did state you would be a tosser if you were drunk, however, from your replies and the huge amount of aggression you seem to be showing to everyone on here you seem to have proved you are one!!

You certainly seem to be having some anger management issue's for sure, I sincerely hope I never do meet you in person, as I'm certain you would rather punch me in the face than have a mature arguament with me
