Me & my dad bought a new project this week, a 2010 vw transporter. It's just a panel van at the moment but we've got plans to turn it into a camper/day van. So jobs are to put windows in it, electrics, insulation & carpet it all out. Then decide how far we wana go with it. Might just put a bed in it or go for units, sink, cupboards etc. Needs a few mods to the exterior as well. Got it for a bargain price.

Do you know what's the best pop top roof to go for? Be looking maybe next year but they are expensive.

yes mate they are expensive. reimo do elevating roofs or look at at Devon conversions. ideally if you found a wrecked autosleeper trooper and the elevating folding hard sides. but there are different companies that do local conversion. you wrought-iron talking about 1k for a roof. if you possibly look at breakers u pull it and copart. they have breakers in for some of that stuff.

I've seen the reimo one, I know there stuff is good. Need to look into it soon, be handy for when the kids are older & we just wana do an overnight stop, save setting up the awning.
