Looks very nice that hotel, very appealing.

 

Problem is I am contracted to work every Saturday unless I book the whole week off. So for me to stay there i'd have to drive up after work. I'll be at the meet however.

having a long drive there and back on the same day for many people was the main reason for finding a local hotel the night before, to relax and be fresh for the meet and the eventual drive home agan next day :-)

......With the meet on Sunday, we figured this could suit a lot of people who didn't fancy the drive to Coventry on Sunday morning. Drive up Saturday afternoon/evening; check into the hotel, join us all for a meal and a few beers, wander off to bed and then take a leisurely drive to Millennium Place in the morning!

 

Plus, you can bring your other half along as well.....

Ferry booked for Friday 15th arriving in Liverpool/Birkenhead on Saturday morning. Driving to Coventry Premier Inn at Hinckley then on Sunday short drive to Coventry Transport Museum. The Belfast Z will now be made ready for this years entertainment :dance:

I can vouch for the Hinkley venue, have narrow boated through that way many a time.
