Just HAD to add a few words on the whole Zedworld subject

 

I am perhaps the single most cynical SOB you have ever had the utter displeasure to encounter. My standards are massively high and I am hugely difficult to please.

 

However, in the opinion of both me and the wife (she would shoot me if I didn`t mention her) Zedworld gives nothing but the best on all occaisions. If they can`t deliver, they will tell you so.

 

Jeff may be an amateur by some accounts but let me tangentialise for a moment.......

 

Four years ago, a mother and her son decided to change the face of care in the home within their local area. They had feeling but little business knowledge to back it up. Now, their company is the largest homecare provision service within their area, their turnover rating at £1,200,000 and still growing. Why? Because of the professionalism that true personal dedication brings. I am that son and my company is growing at a frenetic rate.

 

The point?????

 

It is as simple as this....I do not promise what I can not deliver. I would happily pay a £400 tow charge fron the isle of Arran back to Tamworth as long as Jeff was looking after my Zed (the old thunder). The reason is as plain as day and the reason that I can afford to own a Zed.....because he cares.

 

I am so sorry to be so opinionated folks and PLEASE do not get the wrong idea about me or what I am (ineffectively) trying to say. Jeff, as Luke before him has now ended involvement with the forum and I think this is a huge shame. With less and less Zeds round the place (in realistic driver terms) I truly believe we should be looking to examine rather than deplor. Let us all PLEASE (again) be proactive rather than reactive.

 

For what its worth by the way, I have a masters degree in theoretical chemistry.......I know exactly how and why things work but have utter, UTTER faith in both Luke and Jeff to tell me how my Zed works.

Hi Steve, I sent you a mail earlier. I don't want to discuss the Jeff situ anymore but I think it would be best that we agree to disagree.

 

What I would like to ask (again but in public) is why Luke feels alienated from the forum. All I have read is excellent reports about Luke.

 

The only bad stuff that has been said was about the garage he uses for resprays, and I believe there is a case when two members cars are looking taty after a year or so.

 

Could you please find out why Luke feels this way? I read 99% of the forum and as I said above have not heard/read ONE bad word, just praise.

Well first of all I can't see why anyone would want to attack you, for having nothing but good things to say about Jeff that has looked after your Z

There are good and bad things with every company out there.

 

Second I would just like to point out to you,that Luke at the zcentre has never posted on this forum to the best of my knowledge.

 

He did have a link to his site on here,however when Craig had to upgrade the form,Craig decided on that anyone using this site for buisness,would have to pay their way,

 

I was at Lukes house a few weeks ago,he said he was not happy about paying on this site,that is up to him.

And once more let me aplogise for being so opinionated. Your own views and experiences are just that, as should be mine. Its just that I have been on the rough end of things before now while trying to do the right thing and although I have no frame of reference to comment on individual circumstances, I feel a certain empathy.

I agree fundamentally with your comments.

 

You support Jeff because you have had good service and you place your trust in him, all I can say to that is GOOD, people should shout just as loud at getting good service as bad, word of mouth and fellow 'Zeders' experiences are a good indication of how a company performs. I am taking my car 3/4 across the UK so that Peter at PPS can respray it. Why? Because all the people I have spoken to who have had work fdone by him have not had a single bad word to say about him or the standard of his work.

 

I agree that there are undercurrents on here, and that some of the postings have dropped to a level of personal abuse that should be moderated and curbed. Perhaps we should now leave this matter in the hands of Em and Jeff and allow them to settle this matter without the forum becoming Judge and jury.

 

I would ask you one think however, since you are eagre to voice an opinion and support a company that has, in your experience, helped you, do you not feel that you should do the same with this forum and support what Craig is trying to do and put your hand in your pocket for £20 membership, you could then post this in the correct forum?
