1. dip lights are worse than a torch

2. the odd time the engine won't fire. 500 yds tow is the only way to start the engine. battery is new and engine cranking ok.

3. where can I find ultra cool rims

Hi and welcome

Sorry but poor dip lights are standard. If you search the forum you will find some solutions. I recently replaced mine with some 120W bulbs with some minor mods, but they lasted less than 2 weeks(heat build up cracks the glass ).

I take it that when you say the odd time the engine wont fire means it's an intermitent fault, most of the time it fires ok ?

if thats the case then don't know.

As far as rims go , i'd forget them and get your z running right first, then consider 18" rims from whoever takes your fancy. Some prefer 5 spoke. Check out the rides section to see wot other people are running, see wot suits the z in your opinion.

Try adjusting the lights. My lights didnt even make a mark on the road, and it passed 2 MOTs like that, on day I adjusted them and I found that the lights where just shinning straight down into the light unit.

I tried 130WATT bulbs and they didnt last very long. 2-3 weeks like Derek said.

As for the engine not starting sometimes, it may be your PTU, which gives the spark plug coils the charge to fire. They have a habit of going due to the heat of the engine.

http://www.zcentre.co.uk have rims for sale.
