gray Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 What clutch would you guys recommend for my zed? It's running 500/550 bhp so needs to be a good one that will last,I have a XTD in my shorty witch is fine, but I wouldn't have one in my road car as it snatches to much. Quote
AndrewG Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 Well I'm using the RPS Max street and RPS flywheel setup (now SpecialtyZ): http://specialtyz.com/shop/default/sz-sport-street-for-vg30dett-and-vq35s-242.html http://specialtyz.com/shop/default/sz-flywheel-vg30de-tt.html Smooth take up, heavier pedal feel than stock, but not so much as to be tiring. Flywheel has rebuildable facing. Joel is using the later version: http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?182696-Clutch&p=1886818&viewfull=1#post1886818 Quote She's so fine, there's no tellin' where the money went - Simply irresistible.
t.mogsy Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 I've got a comp clutch stage 2 with an XTD flywheel. I did have the XTD but like you said not great in a road car & the comp clutch is much better. You might need a stage 3 with your power though. Quote

Joely P Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 When I ordered my clutch from SZ, I'm sure it came in about 4 days. Super quick service from Greg and the shipping was significantly cheaper than CZP or Z1 could offer. You won't be disappointed with that one Gray [emoji106] Quote
