BedZee Man Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 http://www.greatestdrivingroads.com/great_roads.html Aside from the shows, meets, et al this year, I'm going to try and drive on as many of these roads as possible during 2016. This appeals to me more in some respects than the obvious group occasions on offer, althougth I am looking forward to these. It would be even better if some of the club members who could make it, would join me? I'm not putting any dates in the diary for this, just make my mind up which one I am going to tackle and when, as far in advance as possible, and put a post up as early as possible to see if anyone fancies joining me. Can a sticky or something be made up for all our members to list their favorite driving roads around the UK? I would like to recommend the B660 from Bedford to Kimbolton, cracking drive. Quote
Joely P Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 (edited) Definitely needs to be a sticky. I can see this being a great thread, cool idea [emoji106] I'm absolutely up for tackling B those roads, some inspiration to use the GoPro too [emoji41] Edited January 20, 2016 by Joely P Quote
t.mogsy Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 I'm gona organise a drive through North Wales soon, start of April hopefully as the baby is due at the end of April. Wrexham to Bangor is one of the best driving roads in the uk, goes along the horse shoe pass as well. Quote

Sounds like fun and I would be up for a run. Quote She's so fine, there's no tellin' where the money went - Simply irresistible.

Whilst you're gingerly sitting there with your foot down, pipe and slippers, waiting for your box to kick into action, I would've already been in 3rd gear tickling the power out of the corner, ready to pounce into the blisteringly picturesque 300meter stretch of slightly waved road, straightened by the XBOX green line. Unfortunately, on this occasion my Eagle F1 was presented with an unseen oil patch, degrading traction down to brown pant percentage. The back end was sent into a 110degree drift into the peak of a 50ft bank and down into a shallow stream populated with fry. Bugger, that story didn't go to plan? Quote
